The central problem of the research is how freedom, as one of the most fundamental human concepts, is defined and interpreted within two distinct theoretical frameworks and what implications it entails for Islamic education. The research method is qualitative and is based on a comparative analysis of the primary texts of the two thinkers. The findings indicate that Yalom views freedom in close connection with choice, responsibility, and existential anxiety, and regards it as a foundation for individual meaning-making. In contrast, Motahhari, while emphasizing both the individual and social dimensions of freedom, interprets it within the framework of religious guidance and Islamic ethics, stressing its role in spiritual growth and the realization of social justice. The results of the study reveal that, despite their theoretical differences, both perspectives insist on the necessity of freedom accompanied by responsibility, a principle that can provide an interdisciplinary model for the development of the Islamic educational system and for the cultivation of responsible and committed individuals.</p> <p>این پژوهش با هدف بررسی تطبیقی مفهوم آزادی در اندیشه اروین یالوم، روان‌درمانگر اگزیستانسیال، و شهید مرتضی مطهری، متفکر اسلامی، انجام شده است. مسئله اصلی پژوهش این است که آزادی به‌عنوان یکی از بنیادی‌ترین مفاهیم انسانی، در دو چارچوب نظری متفاوت چگونه تعریف و تبیین می‌شود و چه پیامدهایی برای تعلیم و تربیت اسلامی دارد. روش تحقیق به‌صورت کیفی و بر پایه تحلیل تطبیقی متون اصلی دو اندیشمند بوده است. یافته‌ها نشان می‌دهد که یالوم آزادی را در پیوند با انتخاب، مسئولیت و اضطراب وجودی می‌بیند و آن را بستری برای معناجویی فردی قلمداد می‌کند. در مقابل، مطهری با تأکید بر جنبه‌های فردی و اجتماعی آزادی، آن را در چارچوب هدایت دینی و اخلاق اسلامی تفسیر کرده و بر نقش آن در رشد معنوی و تحقق عدالت اجتماعی تأکید دارد. نتیجه پژوهش آشکار می‌سازد که با وجود تفاوت‌های نظری، هر دو دیدگاه بر ضرورت آزادی همراه با مسئولیت پای می‌فشارند و این امر می‌تواند الگویی میان‌رشته‌ای برای توسعه نظام تعلیم و تربیت اسلامی و پرورش انسان‌های مسئول و متعهد فراهم آورد.</p> https://journaliki.com/index.php/journaliki/article/download/359/285
