Author Guidelines

Authors are invited to make a submission to this journal. All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this journal. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study's country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper. When you're satisfied that your submission meets this standard, please follow the checklist below to prepare your submission.

1. Article Structure and Formatting

• Full Article Text: The article must be written entirely in Persian.

• Abstracts: Each manuscript should contain:

  • Persian Abstract: A concise abstract (150-250 words) summarizing the article's objective, methodology, key findings, and conclusions in Persian.
  • English Abstract: A translation of the Persian abstract, summarizing the key aspects of the research in 150-250 words.
  • Extended English Abstract: An extended abstract in English, providing a detailed overview of the article’s objective, background, methodology, main findings, and conclusions. This should be between 800-1200 words and allow readers without Persian language proficiency to understand the research thoroughly.

• Keywords: List 3-6 keywords in both Persian and English directly below each respective abstract to enhance discoverability.

2. Manuscript Format

• File Format: Manuscripts should be submitted as a Microsoft Word document (.doc or .docx).

• Font and Size:

  • Persian Text: Use B Mitra, 13-point font for body text.
  • English Text: Use Times New Roman, 12-point font.

• Text Alignment and Spacing:

  • Persian text should be right-aligned, and English text should be left-aligned.
  • Set the line spacing to 1.5 for the main text and single spacing for footnotes and references.

3. Referencing Style

• APA Style: All references and citations should adhere to the APA (American Psychological Association) style, 7th Edition. Use in-text citations and provide a complete reference list at the end of the manuscript.

• In-text Citations: Cite sources directly within the text, using the author-date format (e.g., Alavi, 2021).

• Reference List: Include a comprehensive reference list at the end of the manuscript, formatted in accordance with APA guidelines, with Persian sources translated to English in brackets for clarity.

4. Section Headings

• Primary Headings: Use bold, 14-point B Mitra for Persian and Times New Roman, 12-point bold for English.
• Secondary Headings: Use bold, 13-point B Mitra for Persian and Times New Roman, 12-point italic for English.

5. Figures, Tables, and Illustrations

• Numbering and Titles: Number all figures, tables, and illustrations consecutively and provide a title in both Persian and English. Titles should be centered above each item, with Persian on top and English below.

• Formatting: Ensure figures, tables, and illustrations are clear and legible. Use the B Mitra font for Persian labels and Times New Roman for English.

6. Submission Requirements

• Originality: Submissions should be original works that have not been previously published or submitted elsewhere.

• Plagiarism: All manuscripts will undergo plagiarism checks through iThenticate. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward plagiarism, and any manuscript with substantial similarity to other works will be disqualified from publication.

• Ethics Approval: For studies involving human or animal subjects, authors must confirm they have obtained approval from an ethical review committee and received informed consent where applicable.

• Author Contributions: All authors listed should have significantly contributed to the research and manuscript preparation. The corresponding author is responsible for ensuring all co-authors have approved the final version of the manuscript.

7. Review Process

• Initial Evaluation: Upon submission, the manuscript will be reviewed by the editorial team for compliance with the journal’s aims, scope, and formatting requirements.

• Peer Review: Manuscripts passing the initial screening will undergo a double-blind peer review by two or three reviewers. The review process typically takes 8-12 weeks.

• Decision Notification: Authors will receive feedback and a decision, which may include acceptance, minor or major revisions, or rejection. Revised manuscripts will undergo further review before final acceptance.

8. After Acceptance

• Proofreading: Authors are responsible for reviewing and approving proofs before publication. Minor typographical and formatting errors can be corrected at this stage.

• Publication Charges: A publication fee of 1,500,000 Tomans is required after the article’s acceptance to support open-access publication and other editorial processes.

9. Submission Process

Manuscripts must be submitted via our online submission system on the journal’s official website. Authors must create an account, upload the manuscript file, and provide necessary metadata, including title, abstract, keywords, and author information.
