The Potential of Islamic Philosophy Approaches for the Reproduction of Methodology-Based Educational Theories
Keywords:
Islamic philosophy approaches, reproduction of educational theories, based on methodologyAbstract
This study aimed to analyze the potential of Islamic philosophy for the reproduction of methodology-based educational theories. This research is a narrative review conducted using a descriptive analysis method. Data were collected through an extensive library study of credible sources, including books, research articles, and the works of Islamic philosophers such as Avicenna, Farabi, Mulla Sadra, and other scholars in the field of Islamic education. Data analysis was performed through an inductive-inferential approach, focusing on the extraction of epistemological, ontological, and anthropological foundations of Islamic philosophy and aligning them with the principles of methodology-based educational theories. The analysis revealed that Islamic philosophy, with its emphasis on active rationality, multi-layered epistemology, purposeful ontology, and dignity-based anthropology, holds significant potential for the development of educational theories that are both scientific and spiritually enriched. A conceptual model was proposed, outlining the key elements and a step-by-step process for reproducing educational theories based on Islamic philosophical foundations, with applicability to modern educational systems. Islamic philosophy can provide a solid theoretical framework for developing educational theories that align with contemporary scientific and methodological standards while maintaining the necessary spiritual depth and purposefulness in education. Reproducing educational theories based on Islamic philosophy can contribute to enhancing the quality of modern education and meeting the cultural and spiritual needs of Islamic societies.
